‘El Tonto el Pueblo’ is the second composition Lago wrote for he ‘Tangón’ project; the Aurelia Saxophone Quartet with Ville Hiltula on bandoneon and Juan Pablo Dobal on piano. The title means ‘The Village Fool’ and the piece is extremely gay and nice: a typical ‘encore’ with a classical tango-accompaniment. Later Lago made a version for the ‘(Small) Winds of Change’ in Sarajevo.
