Steady Winds

‘Steady Winds’ was another commission by the Marine Band of the Royal Dutch Navy to be performed at the 2nd half of their concerts where they normally perform a poppy/jazzy program. And the idea was to create a piece again focusing on the woodwind section because compositions in the ‘lighter’ idiom highlighting this section are a rare find.

Steady Winds particularly features the clarinet sections and soloists within that section.
