Update on Clarinet pieces

Yesterday I had a first run-through with Harmen de Boer, my friend and colleague at both the Netherlands Wind Ensemble and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam,  of the clarinet-version of Consecuencias. A very promising and interesting run-through. He will be premiering it with the Nostos String Quartet at the Lago@Splendor concert on March 28, 2016, at Splendor Amsterdam. The same concert will see a full performance of Ciudades for clarinet quartet by the NAKK and premieres of ‘Las Noches de Verano I, II and III’  in new versions for bassethorn and bass clarinet. For the ‘Noches de Verano’ pianist Jaap Wisselink will join the members of NAKK.
This will be a prelude to the Nederlands Klarinet Festival where my ‘Bosquejos del Bosco’  (sketches of Hieronymus Bosch) for solo clarinet will be performed by Arno Piters, E-flat clarinetplayer with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Concert on April 10, 2016, Muziekgebouw aan het IJ Main Hall, Amsterdam, 15.00 hours. World premiere. I just finished the last movement (of five) and I am very happy with the outcome. Looking forward to all these clarinet events very much!
