Premieres premieres premieres

Too much happening lately; so busy that I did not have time to write on it… Just pre-informing you – so to say – that my
‘Charlas’ were premiered by the Mirasol Duo at the NASA Biennial in Lubbock, TX, USA, March 12, 2016;
that
‘Consecuencias’ for clarinet and string quartet were premiered by Harmen de Boer and the Nostos String Quartet, Las Noches de Verano I and II in bassethorn version by Bart de Kater (bassethorn) Jaap Wisseling (piano) and again the Nostos Quartet, Las Noches de Verano III in the bass clarinet version by Sergio Hamerslag, and the ‘Ciudades’ Tokyo and Köln for clarinet quartet by the NAKK (New Amsterdam Clarinet Quartet), Amsterdam, The Netherlands, March 28, 2016
and that my 5
‘Rimas’ for choir and soprano saxophone on poems by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer were premiered by Ties Mellema and the Utrechtse Studenten Cantorij, Fokko Oldenhuis conductor, in Utrecht, the Netherlands, March 31, 2016
coming up my 5
‘Bosquejos del Bosco’ (Sketches of Bosch) for solo clarinet by Arno Piters at the Amsterdam Clarinet Festival…
Soon I will post more on all this, with recordings, pictures and my personal comment. For now just a big thank you to all the performers being such great advocates for my music…..
